Izhevsk State Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­sity is a uni­ver­sity in Izhevsk, Rus­sia. It was founded in 1952 in the period of inten­sive indus­trial devel­op­ment when there was an increas­ing demand in highly qual­i­fied engi­neers, capa­ble of man­ag­ing pro­duc­tion processes. Izhevsk State Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­sity has been con­stantly devel­op­ing its inter­na­tional rela­tions in which aca­d­e­mic mobil­ity pro­grams are imple­mented and pro­moted. For over 60 years more than 70,000 engi­neers have been trained at the Uni­ver­sity. The insti­tu­tion has also branch cam­puses in the fol­low­ing location(s): Votkinsk, Sara­pul, Glazov, Tchaikovskiy, Kambarka.
